Indian engineering company, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won its largest contract to date from QatarEnergy LNG.
This involves the North Field production sustainability offshore compression project and was won by L&T’s hydrocarbon business and is the largest single contract ever received by the company, it claimed.
L&T will be involved with the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of two offshore compression complexes, each comprising of large offshore platforms with compression & power generation facilities, living quarters, flare platforms, interconnected bridges, and other associated structures to be located at around 80 km off the northeast coast of Qatar.
