US Energy project developer, Glenfarne Group, owner-operator of Texas LNG Brownsville, has promoted two managers to its senior teams, effective immediately.
They include:
Jorge Hoyos has been promoted to Managing Director of the Group, reflecting his leadership over his last eight years with the company. He joined Glenfarne as an MBA intern in 2016 and permanently joined the investment team in 2017.
Oliver Wood has become Project Director of Texas LNG. He joined the Texas LNG team in 2023 having had 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry, specialising in LNG, refinery, and petrochemical projects.
Wood was previously Texas LNG’s Construction and Module Director.
He will be leading the construction team for the 4 mill tonnes per annum LNG export project, which will deliver $60 bill worth of LNG, working closely with Kiewit, Texas LNG’s EPC contractor, as the project moves towards a final investment decision (FID).
