The Dutch EemsEnergyTerminal has launched an open season for the storage and regasification of LNG after 2027 at Eemshaven.
EemsEnergyTerminal is owned and operated by Gasunie and Royal Vopak and was opened in 2022 to increase energy security in the Netherlands and North West Europe.
The terminal is inviting market participants to send a non-binding expression of interest (EOI).
Gasunie and Royal Vopak are also planning to further develop hydrogen at Eemshaven and explore options for CO2 infrastructure in line with the transition to a more sustainable energy system, they said.
