Russian oil and gas producer, PAO NOVATEK reported that in the third quarter of this year, its hydrocarbon production totalled 163.4 mill barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 20.57 bill cu m of natural gas and 3.4 mill tonnes of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil).
This resulted in an increase in the total hydrocarbons produced of 8.5 mill boe, or by 5.5%, compared to 3Q23.
In the first nine months of 2024, NOVATEK’s hydrocarbon production totalled 494.1 mill boe, including 62.30 bill cu m of natural gas and 10.2 mill tonnes of liquids, resulting in an increase of 17.3 mill boe, or 3.6%, compared to the nine months of 2023.
Preliminary total natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold in 3Q24, aggregated 16.87 bill cu m, which is almost equal to the previous year’s period,whereas the sales volumes in the nine months 2024 totalled 56.16 bill cu m, a decrease of 2.3%, compared with the nine months of 2023.
