Russia's Arctic LNG 2 project faces challenges due to Western sanctions but has been compelled to begin operations anyway using a shadow fleet and convoluted cargo loadings. Despite initially supporting Russia’s LNG export growth, the project is facing an uphill battle, our Markets Editor Dr Alexander Wilk reports.
