POSCO keen to offtake low-cost US LNG via Mexico

South Korea’s POSCO has become the anchor customer for the Saguaro Energía LNG project, located at Mexico’s Pacific Coast, allowing it to provide the lowest landed price of LNG into Asia. The 15 mtpa project liquifies shale gas from the Permian Basin – and with three trains now commercially contracted, developers are confident to reach FID before the end of this year; our Markets Editor Anja Karl has more.
