Dec 15 (LNGJ) - Statoil has awarded maintenance and modification agreements worth the equivalent of $2.7 billion for the company's offshore installations on the Norwegian continental shelf and for four onshore plants, including the LNG production facility on Melkoya Island. "Maintenance and modifications are essential for safe and efficient operation of Statoil's offshore and onshore installations," said Statoil as it awarded various contracts to companies including Aibel, Apply Sorco, Reinertsen, Aker Solutions and Wood Group Mustang.
