Dec 3 (LNGJ) - New England will need more reliable natural gas supplies, including some LNG, in the future to account for increased heating demands during cold spells, according to grid operator ISO New England. "Winter has become a challenging time for New England grid operations. The natural gas infrastructure in New England is inadequate to meet the demand for gas for both heating and power generation," said the company supplying the six-state region of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
