Oct 8 (LNGJ) - Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering of South Korea said it signed contracts to construct two more LNG carriers for the Singapore-based BW Group. The vessels will be delivered by the first half of 2019, DSME said. The vessels, 294.4 metres long and 46.4m wide, will have capacity to carry 173,400 cubic metres of LNG. With the latest contract, DSME said it had received orders valued at $4.3 billion to build 29 ships of all kinds this year at an average price of $148 million.
