Oct 5 (LNGJ) - Italian energy company Eni said it was pleased with the decision by the Court of Milan to dismiss the case against Eni management for alleged bribery relating to the activities in Algeria of its engineering subsidiary Saipem. "Eni has provided full cooperation to the judiciary and has always declared the non-involvement of the company and its managers, which emerged from the results of some internal verifications carried out by third parties and was confirmed by the ruling," Eni said. Among Saipem's Algerian activities was its building of a new liquefaction Train at the Arzew LNG plant on the Mediterranean coast that opened in 2014.
