Aug 7 (LNGJ) - A consortium comprising companies from Thailand has signed a concession agreement for the initial development phase of Myanmar's Dawei Special Economic Zone which will include an LNG import terminal operated by the Thais. Myanmar Vice President Nyan Tun and the Thai Deputy Prime Minister Pridiyathorn Devakula witnessed the signing. In addition to the LNG facility, the Thai-Myanmar development will also include the building of a small port, power plants and a two-lane road to Thailand.
