US government analysts expect hotter summer temperatures this year will substantially increase gas-burn for power generation and cooling, which lowers inventories and results in higher prices. On the demand side, LNG exports will rise 2 percent this year, followed by a 18 percent surge in 2025 as three of five export LNG projects currently under construction start operations.
