Haldia's Floating LNG Terminal Advances India’s Gas Strategy

The Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port at Haldia awarded a 30‑year licence for a floating LNG terminal, initially 1.5mtpa and expandable to 3.0mtpa. The project strengthens eastern India’s supply security, links to GAIL pipeline plans, and forms part of India’s broader LNG import expansion to 2030.
