China Receives First Sanctioned Arctic LNG 2 Cargo

China has received its first cargo from Russia’s Arctic LNG 2 plant, arriving at the Beihai terminal ahead of President Putin’s visit. The novel delivery could be understood to signal Chinese buyers are willing to import sanctioned LNG on a longer-term basis; it may also be a short-lived development.
