Monday’s EU Foreign Affairs Council has highlighted concerted efforts to among EU policymakers to tighten the trade block’s sanction regime on Russia by specifically including LNG in its scope. Russian LNG has managed to continuously grow market share in the EU since 2021, our data shows.
