QatarEnergy and Sinopec deepened their partnership at the Sinopec-hosted 6^th China International Import Expo in Shanghai last week. Two agreements encompass as new long-term supply deal alongside investments in Qatar’s offshore gas resource base that underpins the Gulf state’s capacity expansion. QatarEnergy views China as a key LNG growth market and has almost tripled exports to China in October this year compared to October 2019.
