LNG exports from Cameroon are set to increase from 2022 as project partners Perenco, SNH and Golar agreed to up capacity utilisation at Golar’s Hilli Episeyo FLNG facility. Currently, at roughly 50pct, the vessel’s capacity utilisation would then increase to around 67pct. However, the current contract is due to expire in 2026, with Golar indicating it will be seeking a more lucrative replacement elsewhere.
