Gorgon LNG, one of Australia’s largest LNG operations, has suffered from significant production loss following the shutdown of Train 2. Large cracks were discovered in several operation-critical propane kettles. Design shortcomings of propane kettles at Trains 1 and 3 also transpired, raising concerns to what extent production may end up being disrupted.
