The Energy Europe unit of oil and natural gas major Royal Dutch Shell has signed an agreement with the Port of Marseilles to initiate the development of a liquid natural gas regasification terminal in Fos-sur-Mer, near the port city in the south of France.
Golar LNG said it was awarded two time charters by Petrobras, the Brazilian state energy company, to employ the "Golar Winter" and "Golar Spirit" carriers as floating LNG storage and regasification vessels in contracts worth $860 million.
