TransCanada Corp., the main Canadian LNG feed-gas pipeline company with contracts to bring shale-gas from the Montney shale in northeast British Columbia to the Pacific coast, swung to a huge quarterly loss after it embarked on a lawsuit against the US government over an oil pipeline.

A new liquefied natural gas production Train will come on stream every eight weeks over the next five years when global supplies will rise by 40 percent, UK energy major BP said in its 2016 Energy Outlook.
