Ottawa approves pipeline to open 450 Tcf of Montney shale gas for LNG export plants

Canadian Federal Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford said the National Energy Board had approved the North Montney pipeline project to open up about 450 trillion cubic feet of recoverable shale gas to feed planned LNG export plants in British Columbia.
