US regulator plays hardball over Cove Point LNG import capacity held by BP of UK

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission denied a request from BP for a rehearing of its argument that the UK energy company was unduly discriminated against by Dominion Cove Point LNG because it was not offered the same opportunity to relinquish its import terminal capacity - as was offered to Norway's Statoil.
