Indian LNG imports rise led by Qatar and Australia ahead of cargo surge for new facilities

Imports of liquefied natural gas by India in April, the first month of the new fiscal year, as shipments arrived from diverse nations such as Australia, Nigeria, Trinidad and Qatar and as more cargoes were also set to be received from the US amid plans for an expansion of regasification and pipeline infrastructure on the East Coast.
