China posts record natural gas imports by pipeline and shipped as LNG volumes

China’s natural gas pipeline and LNG imports amounted to 7.89 million tonnes last month, about 20 percent above November’s previous record of 6.55MT as cold weather persisted and gas replaced some coal use as part of government measures to reduce air pollution in Beijing and surrounding cities.
