US natural gas storage withdrawals surpass record by 25 percent amid LNG export lull

Only three LNG cargoes departed from the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana compared with the normal five or six while US domestic demand dropped across nearly all sectors as temperatures moderated from the previous week’s freezing weather when net withdrawals from storage hit a new record.
