US Gulf offshore natural gas shut-ins down to under 9 percent on Labor Day as LNG set to load

US Gulf of Mexico offshore natural gas output is expected to be almost back to normal after the September 4 Labor Day holiday in the US and a week of disruption caused by hurricane Harvey and its aftermath, as three LNG carriers arrived at the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana and a nearby anchorage in preparation for cargo liftings.
