Oil prices dropped again as concerns grew about limited capacity to store crude and other products, while LNG and spot natural gas prices were weak on continued over-supply on expectations of a slow global economic recovery.

Dec 24 (LNGJ) - The 165,500 cubic metres capacity carrier “Magellan Spirit” will deliver a cargo on December 29 to the UK South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales from the US Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana and lifted on December 16, according to shipping data. The delivery was heading for the UK as the National Balancing Point benchmark natural gas price was at the equivalent of $8.40 per million British thermal units, while one of the main continental European prices, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), was lower at around $8.30 per MMBtu.

Feb 15 (LNGJ) - The 148,300 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Ondo” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on February 18 to the French Montoir-de-Bretagne import terminal on the West Coast from the Nigeria LNG plant at Bonny Island, according to shipping data. The 141,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG River Niger” will deliver a second shipment on February 24 to France’s Montoir terminal. The 165,500 cubic metres capacity carrier “Magellan Spirit”, operated by Teekay LNG, was expected to lift a cargo on February 17 from the US Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana. The 174,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Maran Gas Achilles” will be lifting a shipment on February 21 from the Bontang export plant in Indonesia for delivery to an Asian terminal. The 170,000 cubic metres capacity “Methane Julia Louise” will deliver a cargo on February 22 to the Tianjin import facility in northeast China from the Queensland Curtis plant in Gladstone, Eastern Australia.

US Gulf of Mexico offshore natural gas output is expected to be almost back to normal after the September 4 Labor Day holiday in the US and a week of disruption caused by hurricane Harvey and its aftermath, as three LNG carriers arrived at the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana and a nearby anchorage in preparation for cargo liftings.

June 6 (LNG) - The 165,500 cubic metres capacity “Magellan Spirit” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on June 11 from the Gladstone LNG plant at Curtis Island in Queensland to the South Korean Pyeongtaek import terminal operated by Korea Gas Corp., according to shipping data. The 216,200 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Sahla” is scheduled to arrive on June 7 with a shipment from Qatar for the Dahej import facility in India, operated by Petronet LNG. The 160,000 cubic meters capacity “Asia Energy”, owned by Chevron Corp., is scheduled to arrive on June 16 at the Yung-An import terminal in Taiwan with a cargo from the Woodside-operated Western Australian export plant at Dampier. The 210,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Nuaman” was traversing the eastern Mediterranean carrying a cargo destined for the Lithuanian import facility located in the Baltic port Klaipeda.
