Two years of falling project investment may put LNG industry on track for post-2020 boom

The number of final investment decisions for LNG projects hit the lowest level since 1999 this year with just 3.8 million tonnes per annum of capacity committed compared with an average of 23 MTPA from 2009 to 2015, meaning that the industry could be on track for a new boom after 2020, according to a report.
