India plans to more than double LNG imports with East Coast terminals and greater fuel use

India said it planned to increase its liquefied natural gas import capacity to 50 million tonnes per annum from the current 21 MTPA as new infrastructure comes on line on the East Coast and LNG fuel is marketed for transport.
