Shell backs away from investing for now in LNG Canada amid economic climate problems

LNG Canada, the project being developed in British Columbia by Royal Dutch Shell and leading Asian energy partners, has further delayed its final investment decision originally scheduled for the end of 2016 amid the oil price slump and hostility to the hydrocarbon industry displayed by the federal government in Ottawa of Justin Trudeau.
