Mozambique LNG project potential hit by impending debt default and industry downturn

Mozambique, the southeast African nation that was previously on track to develop liquefied natural gas projects from its world-gas reserves, is heading instead for a debt default amid a secret government loans scandal and delays of several years in moving forward with LNG ventures.
