Sonatrach cancels Petrofac's $3.9Bln LNG contract

Sonatrach, the Algerian LNG producer, has withdrawn its $3.9 billion LNG contract award from a bidding group led by UK-based Petrofac because the consortium failed to meet financial and technology guarantees within a 10-day period.
