Alaska $26Bln pipeline may have spur to LNG plant

Alaskan legislators voted for a $26-billion pipeline project proposed by TransCanada Corp. that kills off any prospect of a huge LNG project to monetize the state’s North Slope gas, but could open the way for a medium-sized LNG plant near the port of Valdez.
