Yamal LNG in Russia signs contract to trans-ship cargoes from Belgian terminal

The $27-billion Russian Yamal LNG project under construction in the Arctic region has signed a contract with the owner of the Zeebrugge LNG import terminal in Belgium to trans-ship cargoes from Western Europe to Asia during the Arctic winter when the use of shipping lanes to the Far East by the Northern Sea Route is difficult because of ice.
