Freeport LNG project in Texas secures first $3.85Bln in financing from Japanese banks

Freeport LNG, the US export project in Texas, said it signed agreements for $3.85 billion in debt financing for its first liquefaction Train backed by Japanese state financial institutions and provided by a consortium of commercial banks from Japan.
