Norwegian shipping tycoon Fredriksen in deal with Keppel to convert first FLNG hull

Golar LNG, the company controlled by Norwegian shipping tycoon John Fredriksen, has signed an agreement with Keppel Shipyard of Singapore to convert an LNG carrier built in 1975 into a floating liquefaction plant using US process technology.
