GDF-Suez takes $20Bln writedown hit and will focus more on gas and LNG value chain

French LNG player GDF-Suez had mostly LNG as the bright spot in its latest earnings and said it was seeking to develop its LNG supply portfolio from 16 million tonnes per annum to 20 MTPA by 2020 as its revenues took a huge hit from asset write-downs.
