Japanese utilities Osaka Gas and Chubu Electric Power said they would each invest about $600 million over the next four years to buy a 25 percent stake each in one of three liquefaction Trains being built at the Freeport LNG plant at Quintana Island in Texas, being developed by US energy tycoon Michael Smith and oil major ConocoPhillips.
