Fate of 40-year LNG flow from US to Japan is in balance again as licence set to expire

The small-scale Kenai US LNG export plant in Alaska, now owned solely by ConocoPhillips, is considering whether to renew its export licence that expires on March 31 after sending four cargoes to Japan in 2012.
