Golar LNG hopeful of Jordan contract and short-term day rates at $90,000 to $130,000

Golar LNG, the carrier fleet owner and floating storage and regasification unit provider, said it was hopeful of a Jordanian FSRU contract and there was a more positive outlook for short-term shipping transactions, though charter rates remained in the $90,000 to $130,000 per day range.
