Kawasaki to specialize in gas-fuelled ships as orders awaited for US LNG vessels

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the Japanese builder of LNG carriers and other vessels, plans to become a specialist builder of LNG-fuelled ships from 2015 and could construct more optimum-sized LNG carriers to pass through the expanded Panama Canal for US exports from 2015.
