UAE makes progress on new LNG terminal outside Gulf as Arab gas needs increase

The United Arab Emirates, the LNG exporter from its Das Island plant in the Persian Gulf and an importer of cargoes in Dubai, is making progress on a second LNG import terminal to be located outside the volatile waterway as Arab states see their domestic natural gas needs rise.
