LNG player FMC agrees Pure Energy takeover to boost its shale-gas presence

FMC Technologies, the subsea and energy equipment provider with contracts in some of the world's major LNG projects, has agreed to acquire Canadian services company Pure Energy for US$285 million in cash to boost its North American shale-gas presence.
