LNG prices in Europe and Asia could close by 2020 with the emergence of a China-based hub price, the European Autumn Gas Conference in Paris was told, and European LNG will continue to thrive in the absence of market-changing shale-gas developments in Europe.

These were some of the main points made on the second day of the 26th edition of the EAGC, which brought together more than 400 energy company executives from Europe and beyond,
