Tuesday, 08 November 2011

Korea Gas Corp. paid just over $17 per million British thermal units for an LNG cargo from the BP Tangguh LNG plant in Indonesia for January 2012 delivery, and Taiwan's purchases jumped more than 70 percent at high prices on the back of solid demand from Japan.

Taiwan's LNG imports in October jumped to 1.3 million tonnes compared with 746,886 tonnes delivered in the same month a year ago, according to Taiwan Customs data.
