LNG

Statoil has bought out the interests of US energy company Hess in the Snøhvit natural gas field in the Barents Sea and in the Hammerfest LNG plant, which is the subject of expansion studies.

New York-based Hess had 3.26 percent ownership in the Barents Sea Snøhvit Unit and adjacent production licences.
