Wednesday, 02 November 2011

The Everett LNG import terminal near Boston, owned by GDF-Suez subsidiary Distrigas, is this month celebrating its 40th year in operation during which it has imported more than 1,000 LNG cargoes into the US.

The facility took delivery of its first ever LNG cargo in November 1971 when it was brought in on board the LNG carrier "Descartes".
