LNG

RasGas, the Qatari LNG production company, signed an extension of a four-and-a-half-year supply agreement with the trading arm of European utility EDF for the delivery of cargoes to the Belgian LNG import terminal in Zeebrugge.

This agreement is for the continuation of deliveries of up to 3.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG begun in 2007 and which was set to lapse.
