Sunday, 04 September 2011

Dominion, the US owner of the Cove Point LNG terminal in Maryland and of natural gas pipeline and storage infrastructure in 15 states, has given more details about its plan to export surplus US gas as LNG in a filing with the US Department of Energy.

Cove Point is one of four import facilities in the US that are currently seeking to become exporters with their own liquefaction facilities. The other three are Sabine Pass and Lake Charles in Louisiana, and Freeport LNG in Texas.
