Flex LNG, the Norwegian stakeholder in the Gulf Floating LNG project in Papua New Guinea, said it was confident the project would be going ahead - with a new “world-class operator” joining the venture, at the insistence of the PNG Government

Doubts have been raised about the future of the venture after PNG’s Energy Minister accused the developers of changing the parameters of the venture without consulting the Pacific nation’s government.
